Terms and conditions related to our hire vehicles.

Rent period : 1.may   -   30.september

Price:  11.500,- NOK peer week.

- Deposit: NOK 6.000,00 - payable at time of reservation
- Deposit will be reimbursed in full at the end of the hire period provided the vehicle is returned undamaged.
- All prices include 25% VAT.
- 300 km free mileage per day.
- NOK 2.50 per extra km.
- 40% of the hire fee is payable at the time of booking.
- The weekly hire period is from 14:00 noon Monday/Friday until 12:00 noon the following    Monday/Friday.
- It may be possible to hire the vehicle for extra days, if it has not been previously hired out.
- Minimum hire period: 3 days.
- The hire rate also includes comprehensive motor insurance and third-party insurance with NOK 6000.00 own risk deductible per insurance event.
- Hirer is obligated to complete an accurate Accident Report in the event of an accident.
- Hirer must have his/her own travelling insurance to cover any losses/damages to luggage, or journey home in the event of illness.
- Hirer must be at least 25 years of age.
- The vehicles may only be driven in Western Europe.

NB! For cancellations occurring less than 14 days before the hire period, the hire free will not be reimbursed unless the vehicle is re-let during the same period. For cancellations occurring before this period, a fee of NOK 1500.00 will be charged.
 

Returning the vehicle:

- Upon return, both the inside and outside of the vehicle must be cleaned.
- The septic tank and water tanks must be emptied.
- The diesel tank must be filled.
- The vehicle must be cleaned for the agreed time of return.
- NOK 50.00 will be charged per used kg of gas.

Costs when returning a not-ready vehicle:

- Filling of fuel: NOK 20.00 per litre.
- toilet not emptyed, new toilet: NOK 900.00.
- Wash vehicle inside: NOK 600.00.
- Wash vehicle outside: NOK 500.00.
- Unpaid fines/penalties will be charged NOK 500.00 more than the cost of the fines/penalties.

Hire of equipment:

- 4 camping stools + table: NOK 250.00 per week.
- Kitchen set for 4 persons: NOK 200.00 per week.
- Duvet/pillow w/cover, sheet and towels: NOK 250.00 per person per week.
- Child seat: NOK250.00 per week.
